Read the Times You We're Born Into
There is a kind of man who refuses to look at the world as it is. He keeps his head down, does his job, goes home, and hopes the culture wars will pass him by. He is not a bad man. He is a tired man. And he is exactly the man the culture is counting on.
For Fathers: What Your Children Are Being Taught
A father has a duty to know what is happening inside his children’s school, what is being handed to them on a screen at home, and what language and assumptions are being normalized while he is at work. This is not paranoia. It is parental responsibility. The men who founded this country assumed that fathers would stay informed. That assumption is now under strain.
What follows in this section is not a substitute for the Bible, and it is not a lecture. It is a record. We cite every source we publish so a father can check it himself, weigh it himself, and decide what to do about it himself. That is the only honest way to hand a man information he is going to be told he does not need.
And a word on what is missing from the screen. What has been quietly removed from children’s programming over the last twenty years is not neutral. Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood was replaced with children’s shows that are faster, louder, more sarcastic, more fragmented, and far more presentational. That swap was not an accident, and the difference matters. A father can start by knowing what his children watch, by knowing who the characters in their lives actually are, and by putting less Miss Rachel and more Mister Rogers back on the screen.
A culture does not collapse because evil men are clever. It collapses because good men are silent. Because they assumed someone else would say the hard thing, fight the hard fight, and pay the hard price. And when everyone assumes that, no one does.
This section is not about politics for its own sake. It is about understanding. It is about reading the times so that you can act in them. Every man is called to be a faithful witness in whatever century God placed him — and this is ours.
“ And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.”
Romans 12:2Three Rooms
- Modern Politics — what is actually happening in the public square, and why it matters for your family, your church, and your community.
- The Modern War Against Christianity — the long campaign to push faith out of public life, and how it works.
- The Silent Church — the greatest danger is not hostility from outside. It is the refusal to speak from within.
“ We must each adopt as much responsibility as possible for individual life, society and the world. We must each tell the truth and repair what is in disrepair and break down and recreate what is old and outdated.”
Jordan B. PetersonWhy a Man Must Engage
You do not have to run for office. You do not have to become a pundit. But you cannot pretend that what happens in the public square does not affect your life, your family, and your church.
Every policy has a downstream consequence. Every cultural shift reshapes what your children believe is normal. Every silence in the face of a lie is a small surrender of the ground your fathers stood on.
“ All that is necessary for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing. This is not a slogan. It is a description of what happens every day in countries where free men stop paying attention.”
Dennis Prager
